We are a young, vibrant youth magazine, keen to get into the faces of the Y-generation youth audience.

Purpose and objective

The heart of Y! Magazine is about enriching the connection which youngsters have with the trends and issues of the contemporary world. Y! magazine, aimed at the Y generation, is a look at the Y life and delivers a strong and passionate message to its readers that inspires each individual youngster to look to their inner artistic self and to relieve their potential. This is cleverly encouraged through the rhetoric line of Y Not? and induces an indefinite freedom for the Y generation to be themselves. Be it educational, fashionable, healthy, ethical, fun and energetic, Y! magazine celebrates all of those qualities which the youth enjoy.

For our readers, we provide the enhancement for unique expression of ideas, and we celebrate the youth culture in every way it is traditional, innovative, and growing. Rather than creating a new culture in youth generation, our aim is to make visible the hidden roots of the youth generation, and to rejoice it.

Y! Magazine aims to entertain, inform and educate its young readers through a variety of media tools: interactive exercises, insightful articles and issues, and selective recommendations.

Interesting Stories: Our History

Our history origin goes back to a suburban monthly publication handed out to students. Truly local and truly young, the monthly publication known as PAL Insights at the time, made its way through hundreds of hands in the Liverpool and Fairfield region.

Four years coming, Y! Magazine began its trek to a national path. The magazine experienced a total reface, its producers keeping adept with the young and vibrant audience which the magazine lives to educate.

Today, we are one of the fastest growing youth magazines in the local educational market, boasting an increase in distribution of 9.8% every month based on demand and supply. Our successful concept lies in the fact that we are the FIRST youth magazine to incorporate educational advice, lifestyle advice, the latest technological advances and fashion as well as dining reviews for the 18-28 age group.

The majority of our readers are from a strong asian background who are born and bred in Australia but are trying to find their own identity and culture in this new age whereby the ease of internet has marred their sense of belonging and identity.

Readers are in tune with modern trends and issues, and continue to search for new ideas and innovations to express their youth and interests. There is something in the magazine for everyone.
